Coram Boy New York Tickets Are A Hit On Broadway
Coram boy is an adventure of epic proportions which is based a novel by Jamila Gavin created in 2000 which won awards. The fascinating show officially opened on May 2, 2007, at the Imperial Theatre in New York City after a huge success as a dramatic play in London. Coram Boy offers a very emotional experience with a storyline which can only be called rich and insightful. The dramatic aspects of the play come from the dark history of the 18th century which is not often talked about, the many accounts of child abuse and cruelty. Coram Boy tickets are selling on average for forty-five dollars and the shows are not selling out very often.
The Story Of Coram Boy On Broadway
The storyline is centered on two orphans who are in the era of 18th century England and getting another opportunity at life as normal young men. Aaron is the son who was abandoned from the heir to a large fortune and Toby is luckily rescued from an African slave ship. The two boys suddenly find themselves at the Coram Hospital, which is for deserted and abandoned children. It is at this point the two separate down different directions through life. The dramatic play really begins to take off with murder and mayhem as may secrets are revealed. The truths which are presented are extremely dark in nature and the characters which become present add much to the effect of the story with villains and evil aristocrats.
Coram Boy enjoyed two runs in London in which both sold out and reached critical acclaim. The book which was set for the stage opened in London in November of 2005 and then returned again in 2006. The New York production is hoping to recreate some of the moments which took London by storm and hopefully should be a great success. Coram Boy has a large cast of over forty performers including twenty actors and a twenty member choral ensemble along side a seven piece orchestra which performs the music composed by Adrian Sutton. This arrangement provides a great deal of emotion to the play and adds to the drama as well as adds a little more zest which draws the audience in and does not let them go. The addition of actors and orchestra all sharing the same stage may provide a new experience for many also.
The storyline of Coram Boy may seem to be a little to dark for many looking for a nice night out on The Great White Way, however, in the end the story touches the hearts of the audiences with and uplifting turn. Sure the plot starts off in a very dark place of abandonment and abuse, but does turn into a story of devotion and the learning process of trust between fathers and sons. The journey of the characters is both long and enduring with many lessons learned and lessons which in a sense must be learned for all involved. London audiences really took a liking to the story of Coram Boy and time will tell if New York audiences find the magic which was created on the West End.

Craps Terms - Part Three
When we last looked at Craps terms, we were talking about cheques, which are also called chips. Today, we will continue with some terms relating to cheques and we'll talk about actions in the game, like the come out roll.
Coloring: There are various terms that involve color. The first is color in, which is said by the dealer to let the boxman know that cheques are coming in. The next is coloring up, which is said to inform the boxman, or whoever, that the cheques are being exchanged. For instance, if you handed in a stack of red ($5 cheques, which is $100 total), the dealer might say color in, then coloring up. Next, he'll say color out and hand you one $100 cheque.
Come Bet: To place a Come wager, you place the desired cheque(s) in the Come area, which is that big space right below the numbers. Think of the Come bet as the Pass Line bet. First, you place your wager. Second, a number is rolled. Your wager is moved to that number. Finally, when the number is rolled a second time, your wager is taken down and paid. You can put odds on your wager once it gets placed in a number. When you place a wager in the Come area, it will win instantly if the next roll is a 7 or 11, but it will lose instantly if the number is 2, 3 or 12. The Don't Come Bet is just the opposite. If you bet this, you want to see the shooter throw a 7 before your number.
Come out Roll: This is sort of the start of every cycle if you will. The purpose of the come out roll is to establish the point. If the shooter throws a 7 or 11, all Pass Line wagers win and all Don't Pass wagers lose. If the shooter throws a 2, 3, or 12, all Pass Line Wagers Lose. The Don't Pass wagers win on 2 and 3, but push (bar) on 12.
Comps: These apply to any game. When you get a comp, you get something for free from the casino. For instance, maybe you're playing Craps and the pit boss decides to comp you lunch. Comps are usually handed out to players who meet certain criteria. It's important to note that there is no way you can get a comp unless you're being tracked. This means you must register for the casino's player card. And when you get change at a table, give them your card to. Comps are also called rewards these days and most casinos have went to a system to reward players automatically.
Crap: So, what is a Crap anyway-aside from the obvious? The numbers 2, 3 and 12 are Craps. And if you wager on Any Craps, these are the winning numbers you want to see rolled. When someone throws a 2, 3 or 12 on the first roll, it's called Crapping Out.
Next time, we'll venture into the D's with Craps terms like dealer, dime, don't come, double odds and more.

Who is Steven Spielberg?
Steven Spielberg, debatable, is one of the most a succesful film-maker of all time. The name, Steven Spielberg, when attached to a movie, almost always ensures success to that movie, more or less. He is very consistent in making popular, excellent and entertaining movies.
But who is Steven Spielberg? Steven Allan Spielberg was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 18, 1946. His father named Arnold is an Electrical Engineer in developing Computers and his mother named Leah is a concert pianist. He is the oldest and has 3 younger sisters named Annie, Sue and Nancy. They move to Arizona and went to Arcadia highschool in Phoenix where started his love for movies.
By the age of 12, he made his first amateur film, an 8 minute Western, called the Last Gun. He charged admission to his home movies and his sister Annie sell popcorns. At the age of 14, he made a 40-minute war movie entitled Escape to Nowhere. By 16, he created a 140-minute movie called Firelight, a sci-fi epic based on the story written by his sister Nancy about an UFO attack. Later on he tried to enroll in a film course at the University of Southern California but was turned down twice. He then studied English at the California State University at Long Beach and moving into film.
By the age 22, he was signed up as an intern by the Universal Studios. Then he was mistakenly given a work to do. In reality it was a 26-minute film entitled Amblin. Then a Vice President of the Universals' TV saw the film and he became the youngest director ever to be signed in a long term deal with a major Hollywood studios. This was the beginning of his successful movie career. He received the Academy Awards for best director for the movie Saving Private Ryan in 1998.
In 1985, he was married to Amy Irving, an actress. Their divorce in 1989, was the third most costly celebrity divorce in history at the time. He later married Kate Capshaw, the lead actress in Indiana Jones and Temple of the Doom. On September 1997 he was involved in a car accident and was treated for an injured shoulder. On February 2000, his doctor discovered that he had renal cell carcinoma, a form of kidney cancer. The kidney was later removed. At 53, he recovered quickly and required no follow-up treatment.
And the rest is history. Steven Spielberg continues to produce and direct excellent movies one after another. The list is very long. Some of my favorites are the Indiana Jones series, and Jurassic Park. His most memorable film, to me is Schindler's List. And finally I can't wait to see Indiana Jones 4.
